Product Summary of Bronze
This alloy mainly contains copper and tin. It is thought that tin containing bronze found in Iran & Iraq dates back to 4,000 BC. It is still an important material today and finds use in applications such as boat & ship fittings, statues, bearings, clips, electrical connectors and springs.
Characteristics of Bronze include:
- Corrosion resistant, especially against seawater
- Good thermal and electrical conductor
- Good resistance to metal fatigue
